This picture demonstrates how I am still a child at heart. While the world around me may be dark and corrupted by adulthood and all its sad realities I am still striving (through the jumping) to be a child again. I am still in the world, but sometimes like to go into a dreamland where I am blissfully unaware of the world around me. The balloons represent the blissful colour of childhood, which contrasts against the dull, dirty realities of adulthood. I am also in the light as I jump into the air, while the rest of the photograph is much darker; reaffirming the idea that adulthood is a dark place.
